IT Help Desk Technician

Description:

    • Gulf Credit Union is looking for a qualified applicant to join our team. We are looking for a full time employee to assist with the following responsibilities:
      Assist employees by case, telephone, or in person with IT related issues.
    • Responsible to load, configure, deploy and maintain user workstations.
    • Monitor and maintain OS updates of all workstations by means of central update service.
    • Maintain accurate records of all equipment deployment, and troubleshooting activities and create documentation for IT staff or end users when applicable.
    • Travel to branch locations to facilitate equipment deployment, troubleshooting other applicable activities.
    • Working knowledge of Windows OS 7+ and Office Suite.
    • Data entry and maintaining of Asset/Supply tracking system.
    • Exhibit friendly, cooperative, and courteous behavior when working with credit union employees, members, and vendors.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications are:

    • *Associates degree (A.A.) or one year of field experience or an equivalent combination of the two
    • *A+ Certification is a plus
    • *Microsoft Certifications are a plus
